By Alex Kopish, Editor in Chief
Starting Friday, Jan. 16, students at the West Bend High Schools will take semester exams. The exams will last three days. Exams for periods one through three will be taken Jan. 16; periods four and five will be taken the following Monday, Jan. 19; and the last periods, six and seven, will be taken Tuesday, Jan. 20.
It is the student’s responsibility to take their exams and attend class when an exam is scheduled.
A supervised study area will be held in the East Cafeteria for all students to go throughout the day. Breakfast will be served in the morning like usual in the West Cafeteria.
Buses will also pick up students as normal in the morning and will pick students up after exams, 12:30 p.m. on Jan. 16 and 10:45 a.m. on Jan. 20 and 21.
Students must make up all detentions before being allowed to take their exams. A letter will be mailed to teachers every morning with a list of names of students not permitted to take their exams. Students can serve detentions in room R25 and when they are finished serving all detentions, their teachers will be notified that the student is able to take exams.
Wednesday, Jan. 21, will be a teacher work day and an exam make-up day.
