An early Christmas surprise was delivered today to Cheryl Johnson, a lunch aide at the West Bend High Schools.
Ben Johnson, her son and a 2017 graduate of West Bend East High School, paid a visit to her in the West cafeteria after spending the last four months at Fort Leonard in Missouri.
“I’m very excited,” Cheryl said. “It’s like a Christmas present, the best one. I got surprised here today.”
Ben is currently in police training. He will be home for 14 days, leaving Jan. 3.
